Drunk Driver Mows 5, Two Die
A drunk driver of a jeep drove over five persons on the Church Road near St Baranvas Hospital on Thursday afternoon. Two of the crushed persons, Sagar Ram, a resident of Domtoli of Lower Bazar area died on the spot, while Tandwa-Chatra resident Vishal Kerketta was rushed to RIMS in serious condition where he later died. After the incident the driver along with his accomplice fled from the scene. The irate crowd later burnt the vehicle.
