The district police force and the CRPF in a joint drive recovered 130 can bombs from a 200 meter long ditch dug by the naxals in the Saraikela – Kharsawan districts. This chance discovery in the joint operation was the result of a tip-off and may have caused heavy damage to the forces. Reports say that this recovery was on the way from Palna dam to Ranka village through the jungles.
