The state wide bandh affected the normal life of the citizens of the state. Most of the schools, shops and other business establishments remained shut in Ranchi. Even in the other regions of the state life was disrupted. Highway traffic also came to a stand still with obstructions on the Ranchi-Patna highway and other important roads of the state. Train services were partially affected.
