The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has called a day-long bandh on Monday to protest against the vandalism and assault on commuters and shopkeepers by a group of people from a particular community on August 10.
The workers of VHP have demanded the arrest of miscreants, who had attacked the police, journalists and others and looted shops, within 24 hours. According to a VHP activist, the bandh has been called because till now not a single arrest has been made.
