State Bank of India (SBI) chairman Pratip Chaudhuri on Friday said the bank was keen to start the SUnday banking system in eastern India, including Jharkhand.
The SBI chairman, on a three-day tour of Jharkhand, said that as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the bank would be targeting distribution of ambulances and donation of schoolbuses in selected districts this fiscal.
