Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das on Sunday said that families of Below Poverty Line (BPL) would get rice and wheat at the rate of Rs One per kg from April 2010. If the central government does not make available food grains to the BPL families who are left out, then state government would supply them grains with its own means, he added. He said that district administrations have been instructed to issue red cards by 28th February.
