Naxals blow up railway tracks on first day of bandh

Naxalities blew up railway track near Rajla Halt, which is between Jhajha – Jasidih railway stations under the Ansansol division of Eastern Railway at 3.30 am on Sunday. They also blew up railway track at Bhalulata station of Chakradharpur railway division and also torched five electric polls in Bokaro on Sunday. The 72-hour bandh called by CPI (Maoist) in Jharkhand, Bengal, Bihar, Orissa and Chattisgarh in protest against operation ‘Green Hunt’ began at midnight.
