JSEB conducts raids against electricity theft
The Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) on Tuesday carried out simultaneous raids on 1016 consumers across the state of which FIR has been lodged against 642 consumers. The Ranchi Area Board alone lodged 203 FIRs.
The consumers were stealing power mostly by hooking or by consuming more power than the disclosed load.
