Ranchi : The bulletin released by India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted normal rainfall across the country. The first stage forecast of Southwest Monsoon season-2017 rainfall report that was conceived by IMD and released at MET Ranchi Centre predicts sufficient rainfall in all parts of the State. However, the Meteorological Department is yet to release the State wide forecast covering wind pattern, pressure, El-Nino affect. "The report released by IMD centre seeking few components revealed that there is 96 per cent chance this year that the country will receive normal rainfall. No detail forecast has been done yet. By June end forecast for all the States will be revealed separately as the recurring components are yet be considered taking the data of April and May months," said, MET Ranchi Centre, Director BK Mondal.
