The Government acknowledges
the importance of Research and Development to maximise economics,
environmental and social benefits. The Government shall strive to
strengthen the interface between Research and Development Institutions
and private industries. The Government shall also act as facilitator
between multilateral UN (International) Agencies and R & D
institutions / private agencies / NGO led resource centres.
