Sister concern of The Ranchi Express Group, Express Vision Pvt. Ltd., came into existence in 1995. Under influence of latest technological changes and considering increasing interest of people in electronic media, in August 1997, a weekly video news magazine "Drishti" was launched. This capsule of some 40 minutes is shown through the cable's film channel. In a short span "DRISHTI" has become a must for the cable viewers. Even one of the episode's cassette was asked for by the Honourable High Court as evidence in one case.
"DRISHTI" provides complete local coverage such as events, happenings, entertainment, cultural
programmes, detailed report on local crime, political activities, stories of general interest and many other such programmes on the happenings in Jharkhand to the people of this area. In all the stories the local population is effectively involved guaranteeing an excellent
viewer-ship.
We have made programmes for the local Doordarshan and provide news from this area to other private channels also. We also make documentaries and
advertisement films. The very famous SURABHI programme on Doordarshan has also included stories from us.
In our footage library, we have got hundreds and thousands of clippings related to regional politics, crime, culture, general human interest stories etc., which are available for sale on royalty basis.
We have our own studio and editing facilities spread in over 3500 Sq. ft. of carpet area in a most modern decor with latest state of the art equipments. We have facilities of non-linear editing and infact all our post production work is done on non-linear systems, the only one of it's kind in this part of the country. |
