Jamshedpur, November 3: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur organised the orientation programme of Ojass ’27, its 24th Annual Technical Festival, at the Open Air Theatre (OAT). The upcoming edition, themed “Eternal Epoch — The Continuum of Ingenuity,” is scheduled to be held from February 18 to 21, 2027.

The programme was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Kapil Modi, Managing Director, JCAPCL, Director Prof. Gautam Sutradhar, Registrar Prof. Saroj Kumar Sarangi, and Faculty-in-Charge Dr. Basudeba Behera and Dr. Annanyo Bhattacharya.

The event featured an introduction to Ojass ’27, followed by presentations from the institute's technical teams highlighting their achievements, ongoing projects and innovations. A technical exhibition and prize distribution ceremony were also organised, showcasing student creativity and engineering capabilities.

Mr. Anuj Kumar, Technical Secretary, Students' Council, expressed his sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries and the institute administration for their gracious presence, encouragement and continued support in strengthening the institute's technical culture.
