Kerala Samajam Model School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great honour, pride and enthusiasm on 15th August 2026. The celebration was graced by Mr. K. Muralidharan, President/Trustee,  Kerala Samajam, as the Chief Guest.

Members of the Board of Trustees and Management, Academic Director Ms Nandini Shukla, Principal, Ms Rina Banerjee; Vice Principal, Mr A. L. Abraham, Headmistress, Ms Sujata Singh, Registrar, teachers, staff, students and parents were present on the occasion.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the  National Song, National Anthem and an inspiring address by the Chief Guest. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic spirit and pride as everyone gathered to commemorate the nation's independence.

Students of Kerala Samajam Model School and Kerala Samajam Hindi Medium School presented two melodious patriotic songs, evoking a strong sense of love and devotion towards the nation. The students of Std. V presented a graceful Yoga performance, showcasing discipline, coordination and concentration.

The Scouts and Guides, Cubs & Bulbuls, Bunnies and the School Band Group added grandeur and solemnity to the celebration through their well-coordinated presentations. The anchors conducted the programme smoothly, while the teacher-in-charges guided and supported the students throughout, ensuring a disciplined presentation 

The celebration fostered a deep sense of unity, patriotism and compassion among everyone present. It served as a meaningful reminder of our collective responsibility towards the nation and the importance of contributing towards its growth, progress and prosperity.

The National Song and National Anthem were played at the end. The programme concluded  on a note of pride and hope, reaffirming the spirit of “Nation First” and the shared commitment to building a stronger and better India.
