Jamshedpur, September 1, 2026:

The Post Graduate (PG) Department of Chemistry at Karim City College, Jamshedpur, successfully organized a departmental seminar for PG Semester-III students on September 01, 2026. The academic event commenced at 2:00 PM at the PG Department of Chemistry venue.

The central theme of the seminar focused on vital environmental and scientific topics, including "Green Chemistry and Sustainability, Medicinal Plants, Water Quality Index, and Soil Pollution and Remediation."

Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Professor from the PG Department of Chemistry at Jamshedpur Co-operative College, graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker. He shared valuable insights with the students regarding sustainable scientific practices and ecological remediation.

Dr. Khurshid Anwar Khan, Head of the Department (H.O.D) of PG Chemistry at Karim City College, emphasized the compulsory attendance of all Semester-III students to ensure holistic academic growth. Several students actively participated by presenting papers after submitting their abstracts to the department prior to the event.
