755 Candidates Complete UG Admission Reporting at NIT Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur, August 21, 2026: A total of 755 candidates completed physical reporting at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur for undergraduate (UG) admission for the academic session 2026–27 through JoSAA, CSAB and DASA.
As per the schedule issued by the Office of the Dean Academic, physical reporting of candidates with confirmed seat allotment was conducted from August 17 to 20, 2026, at the Diamond Jubilee Lecture Hall Complex (DJLHC).
As of 6:00 PM on August 20, 2026, a total of 755 candidates had completed physical reporting, comprising 753 candidates through JoSAA/CSAB/DASA and 2 candidates under SII. Against a total allotment of 761 seats, the institute recorded a strong response from the newly admitted students.

UG Admission Committee 2026–27
The physical reporting process was conducted under the supervision of the UG Admission Committee 2026–27, constituted by the Office of the Dean Academic.
