We feel truly blessed to have offered the holy water from Doumoni River to the 100-year-old Shivling at Jamshedpur Beldih Kalibari on 9th August of holy Srabon

The entire trip was beautifully organized by all the team members of Jamshedpur Beldih Kalibari.

Highlights of the day:

- 6:15 AM: All devotees assembled at Beldih Kalibari.

- Around 150 devotees then started for Doumoni by bus, car, and scooters. Everyone carried a kamandal and gamcha.  

- Some devotees from Kadma and Sonari joined us directly at Doumoni from their homes.

- At Doumoni River:We went down to the river, filled our kamandals with holy water, and chanted:  

    1. Suryarghya Mantra for Lord Surya  

  2. Narayan Mantra for Lord Vishnu  

  3. Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra for Lord Shiva  

- After that, we all proceeded to Beldih Kalibari on foot — a distance of about 4.5 km. It was inspiring to see many women, even those with leg problems, walk the entire way with devotion.

- On reaching Beldih Kalibari: All devotees performed Jalabhishek on Lord Shiva while chanting various sacred mantras.

- Following the abhishek, especially the women devotees, sang Shiva Stotram accompanied by Lord Shiva’s favorite instruments.

- The program concluded with the distribution of Deogarh Prasad to all devotees.
